The premium top-of-the-line model is our patent-pending 2210-ls application-board probe station that expertly combines the traditional wafer probe to the device exercising capabilities of the application board.  The exclusive 2210-ls is the world’s first true system level probe station to give users above and below ambient temperature capabilities.  The application board compatible station is designed to migrate wafer level probe capability to the system level application board in order to assist with post tape-out product spins.  Our excellent product allows you to quickly trace and analyze issues that are found only in the actual end application environment. 

On the other end of our high-quality probe stations is Micromanipulator’s economy machine that offers a great value with it’s low cost of ownership.  The economical 450PM (150mm-200mm) Manual model is very popular with testing labs across the globe for its stable, reliable probing performance and low cost.  However while the 450PM may be economical, it still provides many standard options in order to configure it to your specific needs. Popular accessories designed for this station include probe card holders, thermal chucks, manipulators, unique probe holders, vibration isolation tables, and camera systems.

Probe Positioners for Any Budget or Performance Requirement

By designing and manufacturing a wide range of probe positioners, Micromanipulator makes it simple to find the perfect tool to meet not only your personal preference and application demands but your budget as well.  Our probe positioners are all ergonomically designed and feature direct lead screw-lead nut drives.  In addition they have a reputation in the industry for offering the highest stability available on the market.

An example of one of our most economical manipulators is the Model 110, which offers a low acquisition cost and small footprint designed specifically for easy placement.  The Model 110/210 is a mini-arc style with a resolution of 32 threads per inch (TPI) = 2.2 µm and 10 mm (0.4”) maximum travel along each axis.

We are extremely proud of the industry leading flexibility and performance of our medium range 450/450 probe positioners.  These excellent manipulators offer the user a choice of seven possible setup options and positioning adjustments. 

Our premium “Wave” series manipulators feature X-Y and Z lead screw-lead nut control plus theta and planarity controls for alignment of microwave, multi-probe or mini-probe cards (such as Celadon’s“ Versa Tile”).  The Wave series has a resolution of 40 TPI =1.7 µm and 12.7mm (0.5”) maximum travel along each axis.  The Theta and Planarity range is 4 degrees. 

All of our probe positioners are stabilized by a vacuum or magnetic base used to support the probe holder.  To ensure that different probe holder shanks can be firmly attached to the manipulator, we include collet shafts with our probe positioners and the appropriate collet with our probe holders.  The wide range of manual, motorized or programmable probe positioners we manufacture allow our customers to find just what they need.
