The Industry’s Highest Performing Semi-automatic Probe Stations

Among our many industry “firsts” and leading-edge products, Micromanipulator is proud to offer our customers 200mm and 300mm semi-automatic probe stations with the highest performance on the market.  The field upgradeable P200A (200mm) and P300A (300mm) are the most stable, intuitive, and versatile probe station in the world and are the perfect choice for low current, sub-micron positioning applications.

These probers offer users a high degree of reliability and precision and are loaded with standard features including a dry/dark environment, integrated thermal chuck plumbing, and a single-point ground.  In addition they have closed-loop operations with massive stage and platen drives, a robust chuck mount and harmonic theta drive as well as comprehensive accessory support.

When programmability is not required, the probe stations’ joystick controls are easy to operate.  The joystick intuitively operates the station stage, platen (Z), and theta as well as the microscope’s X-Y and Z drives locally to the probe station hardware.  They use our proprietary prober control software, netProbeTM; available with Navigator, Inter-active Video, Memory List, Wafer Map and Setup modules for complete functionality and a high level of features.  The library includes Video Positioning and Snap Alignment, Die to Die and In-Die stepping and a host of other prober interfaces for popular parametric test programs.

If you need a more cost-efficient semi-automatic, consider either our P200L or P300L that offer system users high performance and full capability.  The probe stations can be configured with a local dry / shielded / dark environment and “Top Hat” for low level or low temperature, frost free probing.

Please visit our website for more information on the P200A or P300A along with the rest of our semi-automatics.  If you would like a quote on one of our probe stations or another product, fill out our request quotation form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Micromanipulator not only invented analytical probing in 1956 but we remain the leading name in the field.  As such we reliably deliver the tools and life cycle support the semiconductor industry depends on.  As part of our company’s philosophy and what drives our success is an unfaltering commitment to customers’ satisfaction.  We invite you to contact us to find out more about our wide range of probe stations, accessories and consumables.

Extensive Accessory Support for our Probe Stations

When we say we have all of the tools and options you need for virtually any application, we mean it!  Micromanipulator leads the industry with state-of-the-art products that we design, engineer, and manufacture for “system level” support.

Our wide range of products address applications ranging from general purpose DC characterization;  high speed, wide bandwidth; to low current and high power.  In addition we take a “systems approach” to integration by offering vibration isolation, thermal management and flexible, open architectures as well as a broad selection of materials.

This means your Micromanipulator probe station can be outfitted to meet your needs from a wide range of consumables as well as high-quality accessories.  Options include thermal wafer chuck systems, microscopes, light and noise shields, manipulators, DC and RF measurement hardware and vibration isolation tables.

Micromanipulator’s Light Tight Enclosure with Vibration Isolation Table is designed to support your probe station on the vibration isolated surface while the light tight enclosure is mounted on a rigid surface.  It offers the benefit of not disturbing the floating vibration isolated surface when the LTE doors are opened as well as easier installation and removal of the probe station.

Our wafer chuck systems offer rapid heat up and cool down; minimize expansion into the probes and maintain incredible planarity over temperature changes with our Frictionless Kinematic Mount.  Furthermore, Micromanipulator’s chucks minimize heat radiation into the stage and will help extend the lifespan of your prober.

Please visit our website to learn more about our incomparable, smartly-designed accessories and wide selection of probe stations.  You will find we have products that meet your application needs, budget and personal preferences.  If have any questions regarding our products, we are ready to help – just call or email us!

Find Info on Probe Tips and Holders – Then Order Online

Micromanipulator’s goal is to see to it that our customers get the best tools to meet their needs and help make their job easier.  This is why we offer the most comprehensive selection of analytical probing hardware on the market today as well as continue to design new state-of-the-art products that will be used to develop the products of tomorrow.

You will find when you visit our website that along with a listing of our high quality probe stations, consumables, and accessories, we also provide customers with a wealth of information on each product.  For example our Probe Tips and Probe Holders Reference Manual gives customers detailed specifications on each model and recommendations on application use.

The manual describes various probe holders such as the on-axis Model 79-0 probe holder, which is ideal for low-profile probing.  This model allows the probe tip to exit the probe holder straight from the end and can be used with a tip bent by hand or with a pre-bent probe tip in 45 or 60 degree attack angles.  If you plan to hand-bend your tip, we suggest you chose from a 7A-M model, 7F-M or 7X-M.  We also let you know that the 79-0 can be used with all Model 7 probe tip styles except the Model 7D tungsten carbide probe tip as the tip cannot be bent without breaking.

As you can see from the one example, our information is comprehensive and makes selecting the optimal probe holder and tips much easier.  After you decide on the particular products you want, all you need to do is to visit our online store and securely place your order.
