The Micromanipulator
Company prides itself on offering our customers quality
products that meet the needs of virtually every application as well as
budget. This includes designing and
manufacturing a range of probe positioners/manipulators from an economy model
for basic probing needs to our most versatile high-performance model, the WAVE
series.
Regardless of which model you choose, including
our budget-wise Model 110, Micromanipulator’s probe positioners are designed to
provide seamless system integration with any of our probe stations. Each is
stabilized by either a vacuum base or a magnetic base that sits on the probe
station platen and supports the probe holder.
They are available in manual, motorized or programmable versions and guaranteed
for 5-years. Whether it’s an economy
model or high-end, you will receive an ergonomic designed product
that offers the highest stability on the market and direct leadscrew/leadnut
drives.
We recommend for high frequency
applications that you take a look at one of our top-of-the-line multi-versatile
“Wave” 100/200 series manipulators.
Available in multiple configurations, the positioner offers up to 200
GHz and comes in a choice of vacuum or magnetic bases to support and stabilize the
probe holder. The WAVE has theta and
planarity controls for the alignment of microwave as well as a choice of multi-probe
or mini-probe cards including Celadon’s “Versa Tile” and coplanar probes. Its 5-axis control features X-Y and Z
leadscrew-leadnut control.
Micromanipulator’s WAVE positioners have
a theta and planarity range of 4 degrees and provide a resolution of 40 TPI
=1.7 µm with maximum travel of 12.7mm (0.5”) for each axis. The PLF/PLS link arm is also adjustable up to
3 inches.
Most importantly regardless of which
manipulator, probe station or accessories
you decide to buy, Micromanipulator’s customers know they can trust us to stand
behind our products. Please see our website to learn more about
our products or to order from our online store.
At Micromanipulator, we not only
invented analytical probing in 1956 but are still the top name in the
field. As such we reliably deliver the
tools and life cycle support the semiconductor industry depends on. A key part of our company’s philosophy and
what drives our success is an unfaltering commitment to customers’
