The Market’s Best Semi-Automatic Probe Station

If you are looking for one of the industry’s most stable and intuitive probe stations, we invite you to take a look at Micromanipulator’s semi-automatic probers.  Our P200L (200mm), P200A (200mm), P300L (300mm), and P300A (300mm) Semi-automatic state-of-the-art probe stations offer space efficiency with their compact design and are suitable for a wide range of testing applications.  They also have comprehensive accessory support and are field upgradeable for hot and cold thermal chucks.

The low current-ready P200L (200mm) and P300L (300mm) has a high stability machined base as well as a microscope bridge designed for small target probing.  It supports all high resolution microscopes.  Also in addition to its durable and attractive finish, the probe station’s stainless steel platen supports vacuum or magnetic base manipulators.

A removable front wedge provides additional room for manipulators as well as an entry port when configured with a local dry/dark environment.  The P200L and P300L feature standard leadscrew / leadnut stage and platen drives that provide high precision in addition to a long life as it distributes the drive force over a large contact area.  The stage X-Y and platen (Z) are motorized and programmable, and a motorized and programmable control is also available for a microscope. The probe stations can be configured with a local dry / shielded / dark environment and “Top Hat” for low level or low temperature probing.

The P200A and the P300A are the highest performing 200mm and 300mm semiautomatic probe stations on the market today and are designed for low current, sub-micron positioning applications.  Built for reliability and precision, the probe stations feature closed-loop operation with massive stage and platen drives, a robust chuck mount and a harmonic theta drive.

In addition Micromanipulator offers a broad range of quality consumables, accessories and options for our systems including thermal wafer chucks, probe holders and probe tips, manual/motorized manipulators, light tight enclosures, microscopes, DC and RF measurement hardware, and more.  Please visit our website or contact us to learn more about putting together a system to meet your specific application needs.

Micromanipulator not only invented analytical probing in 1956 but we remain the leading name in the field.  As such we reliably deliver the tools and life cycle support the semiconductor industry depends on.  As part of our company’s philosophy and what drives our success is an unfaltering commitment to customers’ satisfaction.  We invite you to contact us to find out more about our wide range of probe stations, accessories and consumables.
