Thermal Management for Virtually Any Application Requirement or Budget

9.16.15
The semiconductor industry trust The Micromanipulator Company to deliver the tools they need to succeed as our extensive experience positions us to react quickly to the changing needs and demands of our customers.  In fact we have been around to see belt-driven stages develop into high resolution lead screw lead nut designs offering the best positioning resolution on the market today.  Moreover we have seen microscope magnifications go from a few hundred times to tools that support >2000X magnification levels.

In addition to pioneering the integration of thermal chucks with probe stations; we continue to lead the industry with the broadest temperature ranges available in our exclusive H1000 series thermal wafer chucks.  Along with the best planarity, lowest noise, and lowest cost of ownership, the H1000 supports wafer testing from -65 to 400 degrees C.

To meet your application and budget requirements, the innovative thermal chuck comes in several configurations including a choice of two power supplies.  The AC heating supply is for anyone requiring fast heating and/or applications that do not require chuck noise in the femtoamp level.  Also if you need to achieve the very lowest noise levels, go with Micromanipulator’s DC heating supply.
For above ambient testing and the most economical cooling, we recommend our C1000 simple heat exchange (HE) option, which offers a rapid cool down once the heat cycle is finished.   The C1000 zero degree thermal chuck is for testing to zero degrees C.  If you need to test at temperatures down to -65 degrees C, take a look at our high performance HC1000 cooling system.

We invite you to visit our website to learn more about Micromanipulator’s thermal chucks as well as a wide range of probe stations for virtually any application.  Our products also include a line of high-quality probe positioners, probe holders and probe tips designed to seamlessly integrate with our probe stations.  For immediate help, we have an online chat service available during business hours and welcome phone calls or emails.

Hot Chuck Systems Support Wafers from 150 to 300 mm

wafer-prober-manufacturers
As one of world’s foremost test probe manufacturers, the Micromanipulator Company’s thermal wafer chucks are designed to be part of our comprehensive system integration.  They are available for all Micromanipulator probe stations, including our Model 2210-LS Application Board Probe Station.  Chucks can be configured to meet specific probing application requirements and support 150 to 300 mm wafers in coaxial or triaxial configurations.

With a range of features including rapid heat up and cool down, our thermal chucks support wafer testing from -65 to 400C.  In addition they offer choices in the heating power supply. The AC heating supply is perfect for fast heating when chuck noise in the femtoamp level is not needed.  Our DC heating supply allows system users to achieve the very lowest level of measurements.

We also offer our thermal chucks in a choice of three cooling options to meet application needs as well as budgets.  For the most economical choice, we recommend our C1000 Simple Heat Exchanger (HE) cooling that is ideal for high (above ambient) testing and has a rapid cool down of the chuck once the heat cycle has finished.   If your application requires a thermal chuck capable of testing to zero °C, you will need our C1000 Zero Degree option. For the highest performance cooling system, our HC1000 is capable of testing at temperatures as low as -65 °C.

As with any of our probe stations or accessories, the Micromanipulator team welcomes questions regarding our thermal wafer chuck systems.  Once you buy our products, your investment will be protected by Micromanipulator’s warranties as well as our worldwide system level support.  All Micromanipulator brand products are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year (extended warranties are available).  For our Mechatronics brands, we provide a 90-day warranty. Warranties excludes consumable items like probe tips. Our knowledgeable engineers are ready to answer your questions and concerns.

At Micromanipulator, we not only invented analytical probing in 1956 but are still the top name in the field.  As such we reliably deliver the tools and life cycle support the semiconductor industry depends on. Exclusive Thermal Wafer Chuck Systems

At Micromanipulator we not only design, engineer and manufacture the highest quality and range of probe stations, but also offer our customers the best selection of accessories.  Our accessories include our top-rated thermal wafer chuck systems that allow you the opportunity to configure your probe station to meet performance, budget and probing application requirements.

Our exclusive wafer chucks offer a range of features such as rapidly heating up and cooling down; minimizing expansion into the probes; maintaining incredible planarity over temperature changes with our Frictionless Kinematic Mount; and minimizing heat radiation into the stage to prolong prober life.   Micromanipulator’s hot chuck systems support wafer testing from -65 to 400 degrees and are available with a choice of the heating power supply.  We recommend an AC heating supply for customers that need fast heating and do not require chuck noise in the femtoamp level.   If you need to achieve the lowest level measurements, go with our DC power supply.  All of our hot chucks are capable of supporting 150 to 300 mm wafers in coaxial or triaxial configurations.

If you want the most economical cooling for above ambient testing, we suggest the C1000 simple heat exchange (HE) option that offers the benefit of rapid cooling of the chuck after the heat cycle is finished.  If you need to test to zero degrees and want the best performance in holding temperatures at room ambient temperatures, you will want to take a look at our C1000 zero degree cooling option.  Finally our line-up includes the HC1000 high performance cooling system.  It is specifically designed to handle testing for temperatures as low as -65 degrees C.   For all the information regarding our thermal wafer chucks as well as our other high-quality accessories, please see our website or contact one of our engineers.

Micromanipulator not only invented analytical probing in 1956 but we are the leading name in the field. We reliably deliver the tools and life cycle support the semiconductor industry depends on. Part of our company’s philosophy and what drives our success is an unfaltering commitment to our customers’ satisfaction. We offer the most comprehensive range of accessories available anywhere including our exclusive H1000 series thermal wafer chuck.
