Model 2210-LS Adopted by DTU Electrical Engineering

Micromanipulator is proud to announce that our latest model, the unique 2210-LS application board probe station, is now being used by the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark, DTU Electrical Engineering.  Our 2210-LS probe station will be put through its paces by facilitating research for the DTU that includes integrated circuit design, integrated power electronics and signal conditioning electronics.

With all of the system level prober’s innovative capabilities, it will allow the university to take the lead in the development of electro-technologies that affect the Internet of Things (IoT) deployment.  At Micromanipulator we recognize that everyday life is increasingly impacted by the IoT (the network of physical objects including devices, vehicles, buildings and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity that enables these objects to collect and exchange data), and that electro-technologies have made it possible.

So what sets the 2210-LS apart from other probe stations?  It is the world’s first true system level probe station to offer above and below ambient temperature capabilities as well as to combine a traditional wafer probe to the device exercising capabilities of the application board.  Benefits include flexible setup options, the ability to trace and analyze issues that manifest only in the actual end application environment both faster and easier, and as with all of our products, comprehensive accessory support.

Our company believes that the Model 2210-LS’s superior capabilities are being adopted at a critical time in the industry when true system level probing is becoming mission critical worldwide.  Please see our website or contact us for more information about the Model 2210-LS along with all of our other exceptional probe stations and quality accessories.

At Micromanipulator, we not only invented analytical probing in 1956 but are still the top name in the field.  As such we reliably deliver the tools and life cycle support the semiconductor industry depends on.  A key part of our company’s philosophy and what drives our success is an unfaltering commitment to customers’ satisfaction.  Please contact us to learn more about our wide range of probe stations and accessories.

A History of Listening and Learning from our Customers

Part of Micromanipulator’s philosophy is to not only listen to our customers, but to learn from them.  This type of thinking is what has allowed us to be responsive to the on-going changes in the industry, and successfully remain in business for 60 years.

By listening to our customers, it provides us with an insight into the industry and is the impetus for us to continue to develop such a wide range of probe stations and expertly designed consumables and accessories.  For example to ensure we have a probe station that meets all of our customers’ needs, we offer Specialty, Semi-automatic, High-performance, General-purpose Manual, and Economy Manual models.  With plenty of options, we can fulfill application needs at any price point.

Furthermore, listening to our customers has been the motivation behind us developing such a wide range of accessories for our probe stations.  We take into account our customers’ measurement equipment interface requirements, application demands and budget as well as personal preferences.  Our well-designed accessories include thermal chucks, microscopes, vibration isolation, light and noise shields, manipulators, and DC and RF measurement hardware.

Our products are available worldwide, and we have a substantial product installation base as well as the ability to provide excellent support to customers across the globe.  Micromanipulator’s longevity means we have been around through the changes such as when belt driven stages were developed into high resolution lead screw lead nut designs and magnification levels that have grown to now support >2000X magnification.

Micromanipulator’s engineers are ready and more than happy to provide information about our products.  And once you buy from us, you will get on-going system support for the lifetime of your machine.  Visit our website to learn more.

Micromanipulator not only invented analytical probing in 1956 but we remain the leading name in the field.  As such we reliably deliver the tools and life cycle support the semiconductor industry depends on.  As part of our company’s philosophy and what drives our success is an unfaltering commitment to customers’ satisfaction.  We invite you to contact us to find out more about our wide range of probe stations, accessories and consumables.

Looking for the Highest Performance Semi-Automatic Probe Station?

Among Micromanipulator’s broad range of probe stations, we offer the highest performance 300mm semiautomatic probe station available.  Our Model P300A provides users with full software support; optimal low current, sub-micron and temperature probing performance; and comprehensive accessory support.  Together with our exceptional accessories including probe card holders, light tight enclosures, thermal chucks, video accessories, and manual/motorized manipulators, the semiautomatic P300A is ideal for many applications.

As one of our most stable, intuitive probe stations, it is both space efficient and field upgradeable.  The P300A offers users reliability and precision with standard features such as a single-point ground, dry/dark environment, and integrated thermal chuck plumbing.  Highlighting a closed-loop operation with massive stage and platen drives, along with a robust chuck mount and harmonic theta drive is why the P300A semiautomatic offers users one of the best deals in the industry.

Furthermore, the probe station operates on netProbe™, our ground-breaking prober control software.  In addition the model comes with Navigator, Inter-active Video, Memory List, Wafer Map and Setup modules.  The Navigator module provides users with complete interactive navigation control of the stage, platen, theta and microscope.  The Memory module efficiently stores locations by coordinates, or by a find and save function.  The Wafer Map module provides users with wafer map programming, and step and repeat functions.

The P300A also has conveniently placed motorized controls at the front of the unit, which permits simple manual control when programmability is not needed.  The station stage, platen (Z) and theta, along with the microscope X-Y and Z drives are all intuitively operated with either the joystick or the MicroTouch™ controls.

At Micromanipulator we partner with our clients and strive to provide them with the tools they need to develop the products of tomorrow.  Please see our website for more information.

Micromanipulator not only invented analytical probing in 1956 but we are the leading name in the field and reliably deliver the tools and life cycle support the semi-conductor industry depends on. Our company’s philosophy and what drives our success is an unfaltering commitment to our customers’ satisfaction. You will find one of the most comprehensive ranges of probe stations on the market as well the consumables, accessories and on-site support you need.
