To maximize your efficiency, you will want to outfit your probe station with Micromanipulator’s quality consumable accessories.  We design and manufacture a range of reliable disposable needle probes that are appropriate for a broad range of applications that include general probing; low resistance; high power; sub-micron targets; compliant, thermal applications; delicate target or surface; cutting and more.  Disposable needle probes offer the advantage of quick replacement and help to eliminate down time associated with the need to re-sharpen.

Even if you do not see a probe tip that meets your application needs, we are happy to customize a special probe tip for a nominal setup charge.  Furthermore, if you prefer a probe holder with the needle probe built in, you may want to take a look at our Model 44, which is a perfect example of a single unit probe holder and tip.  This type of prober works great in applications that deal with high frequency, low level signal testing or cutting.
