Our company is also proud to have pioneered the integration of thermal chucks with probe stations and to continue to lead the industry with the broadest available temperature range and the most advanced, non-operator dependent performance.  Yet another exciting industry first from Micromanipulator is our newly patented 2210 application board probe station with above/below ambient temperature stress that addresses today’s advanced system level FA challenges.   

The exclusive, state-of-the-art 2210LS combines traditional wafer probe to the device exercising capabilities of the application board.  One of the problems in the past has been that when application boards were used as part of a post tape out test plan, they were not suitable for in-circuit probing with traditional techniques optimized for the wafer level. 

Micromanipulator’s innovative application board compatible probe station was specifically designed to migrate wafer level probe capability to the system level application board to assist with post tape-out product spins.  This also significantly helps to expedite the identification of root cause.  Designed for above and below ambient temperatures, extensive application coverage is offered including basic DC, to E and K-Band analysis.  Among other features, the probe station provides system operators flexible setups, a large area and vibration isolation as well as an open and stable platform for high magnification sample viewing and probing.  See our website for more information.
