that varies the voltage in order to measure the capacitance. Historically C-V has been used to detect
mobile ion contamination in oxide, which takes the form of sodium ions. Since we know sodium is extremely mobile and
can migrate within the device structure, often devices that had passed the final
test in the factory, failed in the field.
