Probe Stations Recommended for Hot/Cold Applications

When Micromanipulator says we have the best selection of tools for virtually any application, we are not kidding. For example we offer eight, high-quality probe stations ideal for hot/cold applications. Starting with the premium 2210-LS Application Board Probe Station, which is capable of probing wafers up to 300mm, it offers independent platens and scope travel across the entire station. The 2210-LS also comes with a large vibration isolated open stage as well as a patent pending thermal chamber system.

Another excellent probe station for hot/cold probing is the 450PM General Purpose Manual. Built with your budget and application in mind, the station is a great value as it is designed to grow with your application. The 450PM offers a stable, reliable probing performance, and while equipped with a coaxial chuck, it is thermal and triaxial chuck upgradable. The design of the 450PM is based on the popular 4060.

The balanced, manual Model 4060 probe station is yet another option for hot/cold probing and offers system users high magnification and stability and a quick platen lift. While a coaxial chuck is standard, it too is thermal and triaxial chuck upgradable and has lots of compatible accessories available.

Micromanipulator’s best values in our semi-automatic stations are our P200L Semi-Automatic Probe Station and P300L Semi-Automatic Probe Station. Both offer automation that can be incrementally upgraded. Low current ready, the probers are built with your application and budget in mind.

Does your hot/cold application require high performance? We recommend taking a look at the Model 8060, our highest performance manual that features sub-micron positioning and fA resolution. Along with a quick lift platen, it is designed for demanding applications such as high and low temperature probing, very low current and voltage probing, and sub-micron target probing to the limits of visible optics. The 8060 is thermal and triaxial chuck upgradeable.
